To Lambertville
Approximately 14 miles North of Trenton off State Highway 29, x miles north of I-95.
To Cavallo Park Access and Parking
(WE ARE LIKELY TO CHANGE THE PARKING LOCATION IN LAMBERTVILLE)
From State Highway 29 North or South, exit into the center of Lambertville on Bridge Street/State Highway 179. Travel two blocks, and turn left onto S. Union. S. Union ends three blocks later at Mt. Hope Street and turn right into the parking area at Cavallo Park.
To John Prall House/Wickeceoke Creek Preserve
Return to State Highway 29 by turning Left on S. Union and Right on Bridge Street, then Left onto State Highway 29 traveling North. Proceed 4.1 miles as State Highway 29 winds along the Delaware River, passing through Stockton. Turn left into the parking area at the Prallsville Mill site. From there, the Stockton Visitors Center/Delaware River Mill Society is a short walk back South on State Highway 29 in a small house, and the Historic John Prall House is right across the street (please cross carefully). The Prall House serves as the trailhead for the Wickeceoke Creek Preserve.
To Wescott Nature Preserve
Turn Left out of the Prallsville Mill parking area back onto State Highway 29 proceeding North. Almost immediately, veer right onto CR 519 and travel 1.0 mile. Turn Left onto Raven Rock Road; do not follow CR 519 when it turns right in Rosemont. Travel 0.8 miles and turn Right into the Wescott Nature Preserve.
To Zega Lockatong Preserve
Turn Right out of Wescott Nature Preserve and travel 0.9 miles. Turn Right into the small parking area. Please note Wescott and Lockatong are contiguous properties and trails can be accessed from both parking areas.
To Bull’s Island
Exit the parking lot and turn Right on Raven Rock Road, proceed 0.4 miles and turn Left onto Federal Twist Road and after 0.1 mile take the first Right onto Quarry Road. Quarry Road is a dirt and gravel road with some twists and bumps, so please use caution in poor weather. It is the most direct route however, and is only 0.5 mile to State Highway 29. The entrance to Bull’s Island is directly across from Quarry Road on State Highway 29.
To Kingwood Access WMA
Return to State Highway 29 and turn Left, heading North. Proceed 7.9 miles and look for the parking area on the Left.
To Frenchtown
Leave parking area and turn Left onto State Highway 29 and proceed 1.0 mile and turn Left onto Bridge Street. Turn Left onto River Road just before the Bridge and enter the D&R Canal parking area.
To Milford Bluffs
Exit parking area and turn Right onto Bridge Street. Make first Left onto CR 619/Harrison Street. Proceed 3.4 miles to the traffic light in the town of Milford. At this point CR 619 and CR 519 have merged together. To stay on CR 519 and reach the bluffs, turn Right at the traffic light, and then make the second left onto Milford Road, which is the continuation of CR 519. The entrance to Milford Bluffs is on the Left exactly 1.4 miles from the traffic light. The entry road is rough and fairly steep, and may be impassable by vehicles with low clearance.
