To Blue Mountain Lake
Take exit 12 Interstate 80. Take CR 521 North. After 5.2 miles turn Left onto Route 94 South. After 0.4 miles turn Right onto Main Street which becomes Blair Place and then Millbrook Road. After 7.5 miles stay to your Right to stay on Millbrook Road (you will pass Millbrook Village). After 1.5 miles turn right at the Blue Mountain Lakes/Crater Lake sign. After 1.2 miles turn left into Blue Mountain Lakes parking area.
To Crater Lake
Turn left when leaving Blue Mountain Lake parking area. After 1.6 miles turn Left onto Skyline Drive, road not marked and becomes gravel at this point. (As soon as you make turn there is parking area on the left.) After 2.1 miles enter Crater Lake parking area.
Along the way there are several scenic overlooks on the right side of the road, each has its own parking area.
To Flatbrookville/River access parking areas
Return to Old Mine Road turning right.
After 1.6 miles turn left at stop sign (Old Mine Road continues here). After .2 miles there is a parking area on the left. The driveway to parking area is deeply rutted so beware.
Turn left out of parking lot. After .7 turn left into second parking area look for gate, but do not block it.
To Buttermilk Falls
Continue on Old Mine road by making a Left out of parking area.
After 4.6 miles Old Mine Road turns to gravel proceed straight on gravel road.
After 1 mile turn Left at the stop sign onto CR615 North, following signs for Peter’s Valley, Layton, U.S. Route 206. After 1.4 miles turn Right at Walpack Center (a small cluster of white buildings), you will have just passed the Walpack Environmental Center sign. After .1 miles cross one lane bridge (look for shoulder parking for access to river). After .4 miles turn Right at the Walpack Cemetary onto Mounatin Road. After 2 miles turn Right into parking lot for Buttermilk Falls. The falls are directly across the road.
To Flatbrook-Roy WMA – Roy Tract Bridge
Return to CR615 North and turn Right.
After 1.7 miles turn Right at Roy Tract Bridge sign into parking area. There is parking as soon as you enter or go past bridge for more parking.
Another access point to Flatbrook-Roy WMA
Turn Right when leaving parking area onto CR615 North. After 1.4 miles passing through Peter’s Valley bear right onto CR615 North. After .7 miles turn right onto the Closed portion of CR615. There is a large closed road sign. Pass the sign and proceed .3 miles to parking area.
To Van Ness Road
Return to the Peter’s Valley via CR 615 South or continue on CR 615 North. Follow signs for Peter’s Valley Parking, this road is not marked, but it is Walpack Road North and becomes Old Mine Road. After 1.9 miles there is a stop at the intersection of CR 560 West, proceed straight through and after .2 miles you will pass Mettler Avenue on the left. Proceed .9 miles (you will pass Mettler Cemetary) Turn Right onto Van Ness Road the first road on your right (road is not marked).
To Kittatinny Pond
Continue on Van Ness Road and at the ‘Y’ intersection bear to your Left and follow it to the end to Kittatiny Pond.
To Hainesville WMA – Duck Pond
Return to Old Mine Road and turn Right. After 2.9 miles (There is a small parking area to your left if you drive a little further) turn Right onto CR 646 East (road unmarked, sign is further up the road). After 1.8 miles turn Right onto CR 645 South. After .1 miles turn Left onto CR 675 North (follow sign). After .1 miles there is a stop sign at U.S. Route 206, continue straight across following signs for CR 675 North (road bends to left). After 1.6 miles turn Right into entrance (dirt driveway) of Hainesville Duck Pond. This is very easy to miss, there is a yellow and black, 30 m.p.h. curve in the road sign at the entrance to the drive and the field across the street ends at this point. If you see the Duck Pond on your right, you went too far. You can park in the front or proceed to the back to a parking area. This area is not paved.
To High Point State Park
Turn Right when leaving parking area.
Pass through one stop sign at Four Corners and after 3.6 miles turn Right onto CR 653 North. This is a dangerous intersection be careful. After 3.7 miles at turn Right at the stop sign (Rt. 653 ends here) onto Rt. 23 South. After 3.8 miles turn Left into High Point State Park. The park office is a short distance further on the right.
