To Spruce Run Recreation Area
From I-78 West take exit 17 and merge onto State Highway 31 North to the third traffic light – Van Syckels Road and turn Left. Continue 1.5 miles to the park entrance.
Take exit 16 on I-78 east, cross I-78 to traffic light. Proceed through traffic light. At stop sign turn left, merge onto State Highway 31 North. Proceed to the third traffic light and turn Left. Continue 1.5 miles to the park entrance.
To Clinton Wildlife Management Area
Exit parking area and turn Left on Van Syckels Road and after 1.9 miles turn Left at the stop sign onto Charlestown Road. Look for the parking area 0.6 miles down the road on the Left.
To Hoffman Park
Turn Left out of parking area onto Charlestown Road. After 0.4 turn Right at the second traffic light onto Frontage Road. After 1.4 miles continue straight (past old church) onto Baptist Church Road. After 1.0 miles turn Left into Hoffman Park entrance.
To Deerpath Sanctuary
Exit driveway and turn Left onto Baptist Church Road. Continue 1.0 miles and turn Right at the stop sign onto CR 579/Bloomsbury Road. After 4.0 miles turn Right onto Tunnel Road (you will cross CR 614 at about 2.6 miles ). Deerpath Sanctuary begins 1.3 miles farther, look for New Jersey Audubon markers on trees. Only roadside parking is available.
To Jugtown Reserve
Continue Northeast on Tunnel Road. After 1.2 miles (from Sanctuary Building) turn Right at the stop sign onto RT-173 East. After 0.8 miles be prepared for a sharp Left onto Mine Road. Continue 0.1 miles and turn Left to remain on Mine Road, and after 0.5 miles turn Left, before the sign, into parking area.
To Tower Hill Reserve
Turn left out of the parking area back onto Mine Road. After 1.2 miles turn Right onto Mountainview Road and continue 0.1 miles turning Right into parking area.
To Heritage Park
Return to RT-173 via Mountainview Road and Mine Road. Turn Right onto RT-173 West and after 1.6 miles turn Right onto Vliet Farm Road. After approximately 0 .4 miles stay to left and take Heritage Park Lane to the parking area. Trail begins past the playground on the Right.
To Musconetcong Gorge
Exit parking area and return to RT-173 and turn Right. After 2.6 miles, make a slight Left onto CR 639/Warren Glen Road. After 3.1 miles turn Left onto CR 519/Milford Warren Glen Road (CR 639 ends at this point and becomes CR 627). Continue 0.4 miles making a sharp Left onto Dennis Road. The parking area is 0.4 miles up the road on the Left.
