Welcome to the Skylands Feedback Web Site!

Welcome to the Skylands Birding and Wildlife Trails feedback page. Work on the trails progressed throughout the winter months resulting in twelve driving routes touring over 100 wildlife viewing sites throughout Sussex, Warren and Hunterdon Counties.

Detailed site descriptions, seasonal information and more will be available this summer in printed brochures for each county and on our website http://www.njwildlifetrails.org.  Before we finalize those products, we are seeking your input on the driving routes, traffic issues and our presentation of the directions from place to place.  And, most important, we want you to help us NAME THOSE TRAILS!

An online public forum has been set up for each trail.  They are currently named after their first stop on the trail, and are listed on the right side of the screen. By clicking on a trail, you can see a map of the trail within its county and a short introduction to what we were thinking when we “connected the dots” the way we did.  Driving directions are provided in the first post on each forum, entitled Trail Directions. You will need to register in order to view posts or make comments, but don’t worry, it’s quick and easy.

How YOU can help:

  • Review the trails and provide feedback about dangerous intersections, congested roads, ongoing road issues, anything you think would be valuable to fellow travelers.
  • Take a test drive, and let us know what you think!
  • Suggest a name for the trails you like most.  We welcome the local flavor.
  • Let us know if we missed anything.

These trails were developed for residents of and visitors to New Jersey.  Don’t be shy, tell us what you think!
